Peter Barge is the Chief Executive Officer for Jones Lang LaSalle Asia Pacific, a member of the Jones Lang LaSalle Global Executive Committee, and the global Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. In 2008, the company announced that effective January 2009, Peter Barge will become Chairman for Asia Pacific.
He is the author of The Art of series (now in their 10th re-print), covering hotel services and operations. He also authored the Little Book of Big Decisions published by Wiley and Sons in May 2005. He is also the editor of another Wiley publication, Little Book of Real Estate Definitions, Asia Pacific , a tool widely used by real estate professionals across the region. Peter is a sought-after presenter at high-level Asian business conferences. He is regularly quoted in Tier I media across Asia, and he can be seen on television commenting on emerging Asian real estate trends, tourism, global outsourcing, and offshoring.
